Anyone who earns income should file a return, even if they didn't make much money they should still file a tax return.

For dependent children, we will prepare their tax return for a very discounted rate just so you have the peace of mind it is done right. (And so it won't possibly effect your return in a negative way if they attempt to do it on their own)

We can request an IRS transcript for you. It basically is a report from the IRS with everything for the tax year that was reported under your SSN. The processing time is a few weeks but it is the most accurate if you are unsure of if you have every document.

Yes, our office keeps secure digital records of every year that we prepared your taxes for you.  If you stop in we can print you off a new copy, just be sure to have a form of ID ready when you come in. We also can provide them in a secure & encrypted PDF format.

How many years of taxes should I retain for my records?

How many years of taxes should I retain for my records?

That answer depends mainly on personal choice. The IRS recommends at least 3 years up to 7. We say anywhere from  5-7 years is a safe time frame. But some people keep for 20 or more! Its up to the taxpayer what they feel comfortable with.

If we are waiting for a piece of documentation and the only time you can drop it off is after our operating hours you can place it in our secure drop-box which is located right near the parking lot entrance!

If you would need an after hours appointment please call and we will do our best to work with your time frame.

Do you do taxes for other states?

That is a very difficult question to answer before completing your return or sitting down and reviewing your previous years taxes and determining what you need to do for the current year.

Just know: It'll be a fair price and if you bring in your bill from the previous year we will do our best to match or beat it if nothing is drastically different!

We are not a tax service chain and DO NOT do them on the spot or take appointments to do them in front of you.

You drop off your paperwork and any supporting documents with us and we give you a call when they are done which could be a few days or a few weeks depending on how busy we are and the complexity of the return.

We do it this way in order to be able to keep our prices as low as possible.

There is no need to worry, we will automatically apply and do all the work to get you an automatic electronic extension which is good for 6-months to file with the IRS.

If you are an existing client we will automatically do this as a courtesy so there is no need to request one as we will have already done it.

If you are a new client and would like one in order to file with us at a later date, we do charge a small fee to apply for it for you.
